Preston Eastin manufactures single horizontal axis welding headstock and tailstocks (Trunnions) with up to a 35,000 lbs./16,000 kg capacity. Our headstock/tailstock positioner units are designed to accept a servo motor and controls, or a variable frequency drive and motor. These trunnion solutions are typically used when working with long rectangular and cylindrical shapes that need support and control at both ends, such as large vessels or trailer frames. We can custom engineer a headstock/tailstock for seamless integration with your existing welding equipment and weldments.
